Burberry Group plc (the 'Company') announces that on 27 July 2007 it transferred
14,310 Ordinary Shares of 0.05p each ('Shares') to a participant in the Burberry
Group plc Co-Investment Plan.  These shares had previously been held as treasury
shares

Following this transfer, the Company holds 26,488 Shares in treasury and has a
total of 435,042,894 Shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
