Byotrol plc

AGM Statement

At the Annual General Meeting of Byotrol plc ('Byotrol' or 'the Company'), the leading AIM listed anti-microbial hygiene company, to be held today at 60 New Broad St, London, EC2M 1JJ at 2.30pm, the Chairman, Ralph Kugler, will make the following statement:

"The team at Byotrol continues to make encouraging progress and has maintained the momentum seen in the second half of last year into the current financial year.

Negotiations with our Fortune 150 consumer market partner remain on track to deliver a full commercial agreement in line with the timescales set out in our update to the market on 12 April 2012.

The product launches in conjunction with Rentokil Initial Plc have been successful and the resulting order flow is encouraging.

The balance sheet remains strong.  The Company reported holding £1.62m in cash at 31 March 2012 when it announced its preliminary results in June.  This figure was ahead of expectations, reflects our rigorous cost control and demonstrates a robustness in the organisation. This positions the Company well to achieve its objective of positive cash generation at the earliest opportunity.

The Board of Byotrol remains optimistic about the prospects for the business and looks forward to updating the market further in due course."
