                            Director's Shareholding

The Board of Byotrol announces that it has today granted 50,000 options
exercisable at 41p per share pursuant to the Byotrol Unapproved Share Option
Scheme, to a Non-Executive Director, Adrian J.R. Smith.

These options are exercisable at any time between 5 September 2009 and 4
September 2017 subject to the closing mid-market share price of Byotrol being
not less than 180p each business day for a consecutive period of three months.

These options represent Mr Smith's only interests in the share capital of the
Company.
