Joint Development Agreement
with Albaad Ltd in Consumer Products for UK & European markets
Byotrol plc ('Byotrol'), the developer of anti-microbial hygiene technologies, is pleased to announce that its 50%-owned Joint Venture, Byotrol Consumer Products Ltd (BCP), has entered into a Joint Development Agreement (JDA) with Albaad Ltd, one of the three largest producers of wet wipes in the world.
The JDA is targeted at developing Byotrol-based consumer products for UK and European markets and it is expected that products will be available later in 2013. Commercial terms of the agreement are restricted due to the confidential nature of the negotiations.
Commenting on the agreement, Gary Millar, Chief Executive at Byotrol plc, said:
"This is an exciting development for BCP as they further extend their product portfolio in this rapidly growing product area. The momentum at BCP is very encouraging and this deal in particular should make a big contribution to Byotrol's continued push into consumer markets worldwide."
Sam Hacohen, VP Marketing and Sales at Albaad Ltd, added:
"We have developed a strong working relationship with the Byotrol team and we are looking forward to a long lasting business relationship which I am confident will be for the mutual benefit of both parties."
