C&C Group plc
("C&C" or the "Company")
Dividend Timetable &
Scrip Dividend Scheme
Subject to shareholder approval at the Annual General Meeting, C&C will
introduce a Scrip Dividend Scheme (the "Scheme") for the benefit of shareholders
and the Company. The Scheme will provide shareholders with an opportunity to
take new ordinary shares instead of all or part of the cash element of their
dividend. It will enable shareholders to increase their shareholding in the
Company without dealing costs or stamp duty. It will also allow the Company to
retain cash reserves which would otherwise be distributed.
A circular will be posted to shareholders which incorporates the rules of the
Scheme and an election and mandate form. The rules of the Scheme will apply to
every scrip dividend offer which, subject to shareholder approval, the directors
may decide to make in respect of a particular dividend.
