C&C Group Plc ("the Company") announces that on 12th February 2008 it purchased
for cancellation 320,000 ordinary shares of nominal value €0.001 each in the
capital of the Company ('Ordinary Shares').

The highest price paid for these Ordinary Shares was €4.35 per share and the 
lowest price paid was €4.27 per share.

Following the cancellation of these shares, the Company will have 315,697,136 
Ordinary Shares in issue.
