Cadogan Petroleum PLC ("Cadogan" or the "Company")

Board and Management Changes

Gordon Stein, Chief Financial Officer, has agreed to leave the Company by mutual consent, and has resigned as a director. This is due to personal reasons associated with the Company's increased focus and workload in Ukraine.

Bertrand des Pallieres, Chief Executive Officer, will assume responsibility for financial issues at Board level. Financial matters in Ukraine will be managed by the Group Director of Finance supported by the existing finance team and will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer.

The Board thanks Mr Stein for his contribution to the Company since November 2010.
