Board Change: Appointment of New Chairman
Clinical Computing plc ('the Group'), the international developer of clinical
information systems for the healthcare market, announces that Howard Kitchner
has been appointed as Chairman, succeeding Michael Gordon, aged 65, joint
founder of the Group, who becomes a non-executive director.
Mr. Kitchner, aged 57, a chartered accountant, has worked in the City since 1970
in merchant banking, investment banking and the big ticket leasing industry. He
was appointed to the Board in January 1994 having been involved with the Company
on an informal basis since 1990. He is currently chairman of Fieldhelm Ltd, a
property development and venture capital company.
Mr. Gordon jointly founded Clinical Computing in 1979. He previously worked in
the fields of communications engineering and medical electronics and as a
lecturer in computing at the Department of Medicine, Ch aring Cross Hospital
Medical School, University of London.
Commenting on the Board change, Jack Richardson, Chief Executive, Clinical
