Director/PDMR Shareholding Notification

Caledonia Investments plc ('Caledonia') announces that, on 21 July 2009, 13,161 Caledonia ordinary 5p shares, representing 0.02% of Caledonia's issued ordinary share capital, were transferred to J M May, a director of Caledonia, under Caledonia's deferred bonus plan.  

Mr May sold 5,416 of the shares received, representing 0.01% of Caledonia's issued ordinary share capital, at a price of 1592.5p per share to fund associated tax liabilities.   The remaining shares will be registered in Mr May's own name.  

Mr May's total interests in Caledonia's ordinary shares following the above transaction are as follows:

Beneficial - 24,538 shares = 0.04%

Options - 176,365 shares = 0.30% 

Deferred bonus plan - 31,850 shares = 0.05% 

This notification is made in accordance with DTR 3.1.4R(1)(a) in relation to the dealings by Mr May.
