Final dividend for the year ended 31 March 2006



As referred to in the preliminary results announcement released this morning,
the directors of Caledonia Investments plc have recommended a final dividend for
the year ended 31 March 2006 of 20.5 pence per ordinary share. If approved at
the annual general meeting to be held on 20 July 2006, the dividend will be paid
on 3 August 2006 to shareholders on the register on 30 June 2006.
