Unaudited net asset value per share at 31 July 2007


Caledonia Investments plc ('Caledonia') announces that its unaudited net asset
values per ordinary share as at 31 July 2007 were 2270p (undiluted) and 2243p
(diluted), after the deduction of the final dividend of 21.6p per share for the
year ended 31 March 2007.


The monthly reported net asset values per ordinary share, together with
performance statistics and information on the valuation of principal
