Unaudited net asset value per share at 30 September 2008

Caledonia Investments plc ('Caledonia') announces that its unaudited diluted net asset value ('NAV') per ordinary share as at 30 September 2008, calculated on a cum-income basis, was 1919p, before deduction of an interim dividend. This reported NAV per ordinary share incorporates a revaluation, as at that date, of all unquoted investments.
