Transaction in own shares and cancellation of treasury shares

Caledonia Investments plc ("Caledonia") announces that on 25 November 2011 it purchased 4,000 of its own ordinary shares of 5p each at an average price of 1399.03 pence per share.  The purchased shares will be cancelled.

Caledonia also announces that, on 25 November 2011, all of the 572,230 ordinary shares of 5p each previously held in treasury have been cancelled.  

Following the above purchase of shares and cancellation of treasury shares, Caledonia's issued share capital includes 58,104,551 ordinary shares of 5p each with voting rights, none of which are held in treasury.
