Transaction in Own Shares


Caledonia Investments plc ('Caledonia') announces that on 26 November 2007 it
purchased 7,336 of its own shares of 5p each at a price of 2015.7845p per share.
These shares are to be held in treasury.


Following the purchase, Caledonia holds 350,589 of its ordinary shares in
treasury and has a total of 58,444,192 ordinary shares with voting rights
(excluding treasury shares) in issue.
