Caledonia Investments plc ('Caledonia') announces that on 7 November 2007 it
purchased 7,539 of its own shares of 5p each at a price of 2012.5368p per share.
These shares are to be held in treasury.



Following the purchase, Caledonia holds 215,539 of its ordinary shares in
treasury and has a total of 58,579,242 ordinary shares with voting rights
(excluding treasury shares) in issue.
