Caledonia Investments plc ("Caledonia") announces that on 1 December 2011 it purchased 5,000 of its own shares of 5p each at an average price of 1456.96 pence per share. The shares purchased will be cancelled.

Following the above purchase of shares, Caledonia's issued ordinary share capital includes 58,091,551 ordinary shares of 5p each with voting rights.
