Unaudited net asset value per share at 31 October 2005


Caledonia Investments plc ('Caledonia') announces that its unaudited net asset
value per ordinary share as at 31 October 2005 was 1760p before deduction of an
interim dividend.


The amount of the interim dividend in relation to the year ending 31 March 2006
will be announced with the full interim results on 01 December 2005.

performance statistics and information on the valuation of principal
