Cambria appoints senior hotels executive
Cambria is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Roy Meiring as CEO of its hotels division.
Mr Meiring has over 35 years of experience in the hotels industry and was until recently an Executive Director of Meikles Ltd, responsible for its hotels division. The Meikles hotels portfolio under his oversight consisted of three well-known five star properties, namely the Cape Grace, Cape Town; the Victoria Falls Hotel, Victoria Falls; and, the Meikles Hotel, Harare.
With Mr Meiring, Cambria believes it has appointed one of the most experienced hoteliers in Zimbabwe. His responsibilities will comprise further upgrading and expanding the Leopard Rock Hotel, including integrating the recently acquired 'Castle at Leopard Rock', as well as over time identifying and harnessing appropriate additional expansion opportunities for Cambria's hotel division.
Commenting on the appointment of Mr Roy Meiring, Ian Perkins, non-executive Chairman of Cambria said: "Appointing Roy Meiring is an exciting development for Cambria as it will allow us to build and grow our hotels division knowing one of the most experienced hoteliers in Zimbabwe will be providing his skilful stewardship.
