Extract from notification received from Aberdeen Asset Managers Limited on 5
December 2000:

' Aberdeen Asset Managers Limited write to inform you that, as a result of the
acquisition by its parent company of Murray Johnstone Holdings Limited on 30th
November 2000, they acquired 1,008,800 ordinary shares and 762,500 income
shares of the above named company.

The total number of ordinary shares now managed by Aberdeen Asset Managers
Limited and its associated companies is 4,346,693 shares representing 25.05%
of the issued share capital of that class (previously 19.24%).

The total number of income shares now managed by Aberdeen Asset Managers
Limited and its associated companies is 9,162,500 shares representing 18.60%
of the issued share capital of that class (previously 17.05%).

The total resultant total voting shares managed by Aberdeen Asset Managers
Limited and its associated companies is 13,509,193 shares representing 20.28%
of the total voting shares in issue previously (17.62%).'
