Declares Initial Quarterly Dividend on Series 2 Preference Shares
TORONTO, CANADA -- Canadian General Investments, Limited has declared the
initial quarterly dividend on its 4.65% Cumulative Redeemable Class A Preference
Shares, Series 2.
The dividend of $0.13058 per share is payable on December 15, 2003 to
shareholders of record at the close of business on November 28, 2003. As the
date of the issue of the shares was November 4, 2003, this dividend represents
the fraction of the total annual dividend payable on the shares to December 15,
2003.
Dividends on the shares are payable quarterly on the 15th day of March, June,
September and December in each year.
