Canadian Overseas Petroleum Limited Announces Admission to Trading in London of Shares
Calgary, Canada, August 13, 2015 - Canadian Overseas Petroleum Limited ("COPL" or the "Company") (TSX-V: XOP) (LSE: COPL), announces the admission (the "New Shares Admission") to the standard listing segment of the Official List, and to trading on the London Stock Exchange's main market for listed securities, of 261,687,398 common shares of no par value in the capital of the Company (the "New Shares"). New Shares Admission is expected to become effective at 8:00 am (London time) today, August 13, 2015. The New Shares are shares which were issued or are issuable pursuant to the last two financings of the Company, which closed on August 21, 2014, and July 09, 2015 respectively. No fundraising is being conducted by the Company in connection with New Shares Admission.

About the Company
COPL is an international oil and gas exploration and development company focused on sub-Saharan offshore Africa. The Company holds a 17% working interest in Block LB-13, offshore Liberia, with ExxonMobil Libera, the operator, holding an 83% working interest. The Company also formed a joint venture company with Shoreline Energy International Limited.
