CAPITA ANNOUNCES ZURICH BUSINESS PARTNER DISCUSSIONS
The Capita Group Plc ('Capita') announces today that it is entering into
detailed discussions with Zurich concerning a potential business relationship.
The talks involve assistance with certain operations and business processes
within Zurich's UK life business. Zurich has today informed all staff across
their UK life business of these discussions.
A comprehensive assessment of the proposal and scope of operations for inclusion
in any arrangement will be undertaken over the coming months. This could result
in a material contract being awarded to Capita, the value of which will be
dependent on the scope and scale of services transferred.
Any resultant arrangement would be subject to contract agreement and FSA
approval.
Capita will announce further progress of the relationship as appropriate over
the next few months.
