The Capita Group Plc (the 'Company') announces that on 28 December 2006,
16,833,308 of its ordinary shares held in Treasury have been cancelled.

Following the cancellation, the Company no longer holds any shares in Treasury
and has a total of 617,165,508 shares in issue.
