Capita Group PLC (the ('Company')

Capita was informed earlier today that Derek Fowler, a non-executive director
of the Company, transferred 2,500 shares to his wife on 24 March 2000 by way
of a deed of gift.  Following this transfer, Mr Flower (and his family) remain
interested in 5,250 shares of the Company.
