CAPITA SELECTED BY COUNTRYWIDE ASSURED TO ADMINISTER LIFE AND PENSIONS POLICIES


The Capita Group Plc ('Capita') announces that it has been selected by
Countrywide Assured to provide administrative services for approximately 80,000
life and pensions policies.

The deal is worth £19 million over 15 years and will involve the transfer of 36
staff to Capita.

Paul Pindar, Chief Executive of Capita commented, 'We are delighted to have been
selected by Countrywide to administer its life and pensions policies. The
contract will draw upon Capita's expertise in life and pensions administration.
We look forward to welcoming all staff who transfer to Capita.'
