SHARE REPURCHASE

Capita Group Plc announces that it purchased 131,000 ordinary shares in the
Company on 13 October 2005 at an average price of 380.0p per share. It is
intended that these shares are to be held in Treasury. Following the purchase,
Capita Group plc holds 10,285,000 ordinary shares as treasury shares. The total
number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding shares held as treasury shares) is
658,640,387.
