             Results of the Annual General Meeting (the 'Meeting')


The Annual General Meeting of the Company was held today, 14 August 2007 at
12.30pm.

At the Meeting, the ordinary and special resolutions set out in the notice of
the meeting (a copy of which is available at www.capitalgearingtrust.com) were
proposed and passed unanimously on a show of hands.

The proxy voting figures will shortly be available on the Company's website at
www.capitalgearingtrust.com.


In accordance with Listing Rule 9.6.2, two copies of all the resolutions passed,
other than the resolutions concerning ordinary business will shortly be
available for inspection at the UK Listing Authority's Document Viewing Facility
