AS NEW CHIEF EXECUTIVE

a change of Chief Executive, to take effect from 1 April 2008.
Hugh Scott-Barrett, who was a member of the management board of ABN AMRO from

management of a major financial institution has given Capital & Regional the
opportunity to put in place the ideal leadership for the future", said Tom
Chandos, the chairman. "Martin Barber has made an extraordinary contribution to
the Company over the last thirty years and the board is very pleased to have
been able to ensure such a strong succession to him."
Hugh Scott-Barrett added: "I am excited to have this opportunity to lead an
entrepreneurial and dedicated management team and to take the Company, with all
