                 RETIREMENT OF NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR


As stated in the 2005 preliminary results, David Cherry, a non-executive
director, retired form the Board on Monday 5th June 2006 after 9 years of
service.


Capital & Regional would like to thank David for his enormous contribution to
the Group over the past 9 years and extend its warmest wishes to him for the
future.
