NOTIFICATION OF INTEREST DISCLOSURE PURSUANT TO SECTION DTR5 OF THE FCA DISCLOSURE & TRANSPARENCY RULES

On 15 July 2014, the Company received the following notification:

Pinelake International Limited has a direct interest in 27,434,881 Ordinary shares of 1p each in Capital & Regional plc. This represents 3.92% of the issued share capital of the Company. 

In addition Pinelake International Limited is the parent undertaking of Karoo Investment S.a.r.l., being the general partner of the Karoo Investment Fund.  The Karoo Investment Fund has interest in 73,540,911 Ordinary shares of 1p each in Capital & Regional plc representing 10.49% of the issued share capital of the Company.

In total Pinelake International Limited therefore has a direct and indirect interest in 100,975,792 Ordinary shares of 1p each representing 14.41% of the issued share capital of the Company.
