Cairn announces that Phil Dolan, Director of Operations, sold 211,090 Ordinary Shares of ^231/₁₆₉ pence each in the Company at a price of £333.03 per share on 3 April 2012.

Following this announcement, Phil Dolan's beneficial interests in the Ordinary Shares of the Company are as follows:-
