Cairn announces that on 9 May 2013, Svein Ilebekk, Regional Director (UK & Norway), sold 10,000 Ordinary Shares of ²³¹/₁₆₉ each in the Company at a price of £2.7963 per share.

Following this announcement, the above mentioned PDMR's beneficial interests in the Ordinary Shares of the Company are as follows:-
