Interests of PDMR in the Company's Shares

Cairn announces that on 16 May 2013, Ian Watt, Regional Director (North Atlantic), sold 30,000 Ordinary Shares of ²³¹/₁₆₉ pence each in the Company at a price of £2.80 per share.

Following this announcement, the above mentioned PDMR's beneficial interests in the Ordinary Shares of the Company are as follows:-
