Interests of Non-Executive Chairman in the Company's Shares

Cairn announces that on 26 March 2014, Lady Janice Gammell, the spouse of the Company's non-executive Chairman, Sir Bill Gammell purchased 59,800 Ordinary Shares of ²³¹/₁₆₉ each in the Company a price of £1.6722 per share.

Following this purchase, Sir Bill Gammell's beneficial interests in the Ordinary Shares of the Company are as follows:-
