Interests of Non-Executive Director in the Company's Shares

Cairn announces that on 1 December 2014, Jackie Sheppard, a non-executive director of the Company, purchased 7,000 Ordinary Shares of ²³¹/₁₆₉ each in the Company at a price of £1.6186 per share.

Following this purchase, the above mentioned director's beneficial interests in the Ordinary Shares of the Company are as follows:-
