CAPRICORN ENERGY PLC ("Capricorn" or "the Company")

TRANSACTIONS IN OWN SHARES

Capricorn Energy PLC (the "Company") announces that, on 1 June 2022, it purchased the following number of its ordinary shares of 21/13 pence each on the London Stock Exchange through J.P. Morgan Securities plc. Such purchase was effected pursuant to the instructions issued by the Company in accordance with the non-discretionary share repurchase arrangements entered into with J.P. Morgan Securities plc, as announced on 7 April 2022.

Aggregate number of Ordinary Shares purchased:	186,389
Lowest price paid per share:	197.30 pence
Highest price paid per share:	208.80 pence
Average price paid per share:	201.83 pence

The Company intends to cancel the purchased Ordinary Shares.

Since 7 April 2022 , the Company has purchased 8,849,685 shares at a cost (including dealing and associated costs) of £ 17,630,224.35.
