CAPRICORN ENERGY PLC ("Capricorn" or "the Company")

TRANSACTIONS IN OWN SHARES

Capricorn Energy PLC (the Company) announces that, on 10 May 2022, it purchased the following number of its ordinary shares of 21/13 pence each on the London Stock Exchange through J.P. Morgan Securities plc. Such purchase was effected pursuant to the instructions issued by the Company in accordance with the non-discretionary share repurchase arrangements entered into with J.P. Morgan Securities plc, as announced on 7 April 2022.

Aggregate number of Ordinary Shares purchased:	52,482
Lowest price paid per share:	203.60 pence
Highest price paid per share:	211.20 pence
Average price paid per share:	208.01 pence

The Company intends to cancel the purchased Ordinary Shares.

Since 7 April 2022 , the Company has purchased 5,105,123 shares at a cost (including dealing and associated costs) of £ 10,162,838.78.
