TRANSACTIONS IN OWN SHARES

Capricorn Energy PLC (the "Company") announces that, on 9 May 2023, it purchased the following number of its ordinary shares of 21/13 pence each (the "Ordinary Shares") through Merrill Lynch International ("BofA Securities"). Such purchase was effected pursuant to the instructions issued by the Company in accordance with the share repurchase arrangements entered into with BofA Securities, as announced on 4 May 2023.

Lowest price paid per share:	218.40 pence
Highest price paid per share:	224.60 pence
Average price paid per share:	220.50 pence

Since 4 May 2023, the Company has purchased 553,161 Ordinary Shares, to be held in treasury, at a cost (including dealing and associated costs) of £1,234,805.85.

Following these purchases, the Company holds 553,161 Ordinary Shares in treasury and there are 314,519,289 Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding shares held in treasury). The total voting rights in the Company is accordingly 314,519,289. This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
