CIT achieves Atmel 'first production shipment' milestone
Carclo plc is pleased to confirm that volume production of touch sensors based on Conductive Inkjet Technology's ("CIT's") Fine Line Technology commenced as expected this month.
Shipments have now exceeded the minimum volume threshold specified in our agreement with Atmel Corporation and the 'first production shipment' milestone has been achieved. This milestone triggers the US$10.0 million prepayment which we expect to receive early in the new calendar year.
The increase in production capacity outlined in the group's interim statement is on schedule.
