Further to the announcement relating to the appointment of Mr T S Kurwie as a
director of Carclo Engineering Group PLC, with effect from 1 July 1999, the
Company has been notified, pursuant to paragraph 16.4 of the London Stock
Exchange Listing Rules, that Mr Kurwie has held no directorships in any other
publicly quoted company in the last five years and there are no details to be
disclosed under paragraph 6.F.2 (b) to (g).
