Andrew Parrish appointment to Carillion main board team
Leading construction to services company, Carillion plc, has
appointed Andrew Parrish as a non-executive director from 31
March 2000.
Fifty four year old Mr Parrish, is the Group Chief Executive
of Senior plc - the global leader in the manufacturing and
marketing of thin-walled, flexible tubing for the world's
major aerospace, automotive and specialised industrial markets
including commercial construction.
Welcoming Mr Parrish to the Carillion Board, Chairman Sir
Neville Simms says, 'Since joining Senior in January 1997,
Andrew has been widely acclaimed for the way he has
restructured the business and focused the Group on its core
international markets.
'I believe he will be able to give us the benefit of his
considerable experience in managing change as we continue to
reposition our business in growth markets to enhance the
quality of our earnings.'
Carillion has an annual turnover approaching £2 billion from
businesses serving the construction markets of building and
civil engineering and increasingly the growth markets of
infrastructure management, private finance and services.
The other members of the Carillion Board are - Chairman Sir
Neville Simms; Executive Directors Roger Robinson, John
Sharples and Euan McEwan; Finance Director Chris Girling; non
executive deputy chairman Roger Brooke; and non executive
directors Jean-Paul Parayre and Alan Coppin.
