Appointment of New Director
Carillion plc is pleased to announce that Vanda Murray OBE was appointed as a
non-executive director of the Company on 1 June 2005.
Vanda Murray, aged 44, is a director of Ultraframe plc, the conservatory systems
manufacturer. Vanda joined Ultraframe in January 2002, initially as a
non-executive director being invited to become UK Managing Director and Group
Marketing Director in September 2004. Prior to Ultraframe, she was Chief
Executive of Blick plc, the security solutions company.
Vanda brings to Carillion considerable experience as a business leader serving
public sector markets and of delivering business performance improvement.
