Employee Share Ownership Trust
Interests of Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibilities
Carillion plc (the Company) was notified today, Wednesday 19 October 2005, that
the Carillion plc Employee Share Ownership Trust (the Trust) on 19 October 2005
transferred 3,266 Carillion plc ordinary shares of 50p each (less than 0.01% of
the issued share capital) pursuant to the exercise of options under the
Carillion Sharesave Scheme.
The number of Carillion plc ordinary shares now held by the Trust is 3,908,269
(1.819% of the issued share capital).
Persons discharging managerial responsibilities have an interest in these shares
as potential beneficiaries under the said Trust.
