MoD contracts presentation
Support services and construction company Carillion, will today jointly host a
presentation to analysts and investors. The event is to be shared with our joint
venture (JV) partner, Enterprise plc.
The presentation will cover two recently signed contracts with the Ministry of
Defence, the Housing Prime Contract (HPC) and the Regional Prime Contract (RPC).
These two prime contracts are potentially worth some £1.2bn to the JV over ten
years, which comprises an initial seven-year period and an option for a
three-year extension. The services to be delivered under the contracts relates
to the maintenance and renewal of approximately 50,000 buildings in the UK,
including some 43,000 dwellings, which are a part of Defence Estates.
Carillion is a 50/50 partner in the RPC JV with Enterprise and a 50% partner in
the HPC JV with Enterprise (25%) and Atkins (25%).
The presentations will cover only the RPC and HPC contracts. No material new
information will be forthcoming and no significant new opinions will be
expressed.
