Closed Period Share Repurchase Programme

MIAMI (1 September 2011) - Carnival Corporation & plc (NYSE/LSE: CCL; NYSE: CUK) announce that they have entered into an irrevocable, non-discretionary programme to purchase ordinary shares of Carnival plc during the closed period commencing on 1 September 2011 and ending on 30 September 2011 (unless such programme is terminated earlier).

Any purchases under the programme will be effected within certain pre-set parameters, the Listing Rules, other applicable laws and in accordance with Carnival plc's general authority granted by its shareholders at the last Annual General Meeting to repurchase shares.
