     PRELIMINARY ANNOUNCEMENT DATE / PRESENTATION - MONDAY 13 NOVEMBER 2006


Carr's (CRM.L), the Cumbria-based agriculture, food and engineering group,
proposes to announce its results for the 52 weeks to 2 September 2006 on Monday
13 November 2006.


On that day, there will be a presentation to brokers' analysts and private
client brokers between 13:00 and 14:00, over a sandwich lunch, at the offices of
Bankside Consultants, 1 Frederick's Place, London EC2R 8AE. Those wishing to
