                           NOTIFICATION OF 2006 DATES

Catlin Group Limited's Preliminary Results for the year ending 31 December 2005
are expected to be announced on Thursday 9 March 2006. The Annual General
Meeting will take place on Tuesday 6 June 2006 at the Group's offices at
Cumberland House, 6th Floor, 1 Victoria Street, Hamilton, Bermuda HM 11.

The Group's Interim Results for the six months ending 30 June 2006 are expected
to be announced on Friday 8 September 2006.
