Re: Directorate - issue of options
Further to the announcement of Sir David Frost's appointment to the
board of Newsplayer on 16 January 2001, Newsplayer announces that it
has granted Sir David Frost options over 2 million ordinary shares of
1p each in the capital of Newsplayer on 19 January 2001, in accordance
with the Newsplayer Group plc Executive Share Option Scheme. The
exercise price of the options is 49.17p and the options are
exercisable between 19th January 2004 and 19th January 2011. No
consideration was paid for the grant of these options.
