Catalyst Media Group plc announces worldwide distribution deal with CinemaNow,
Inc.
Catalyst Media Group plc ('Catalyst Media'), the leading provider of services
supporting the distribution of audio-visual content on digital platforms, today
announces a significant worldwide distribution deal with leading video-on-demand
distributor, CinemaNow, Inc. The agreement will be on a revenue share basis.
Catalyst Media has agreed to licence its 40-year archive of Sir David Frost's
interviews with the world's most famous public figures and its collection of
Hollywood-related documentary programming for distribution on the CinemaNow
platform.
CinemaNow operates a broadband website offering users on-demand access to
thousands of Hollywood movies, as well as music and TV content. It is part-owned
by Lions Gate Entertainment, Microsoft and Blockbuster. Catalyst Media joins
Twentieth Century Fox, Disney, MGM, Sony and Warner Bros. among the licensors
whose content currently is available on CinemaNow. Content is available on a
pay-per-view, download-to-own and subscription basis making CinemaNow the most
complete and flexible service for accessing movies online.
