AND GRANTS LICENCE FOR VIDEOTV
LONDON, 27 NOVEMBER 2001 - EMI Recorded Music and Newsplayer Group (NPG) have
signed a five-year non-exclusive agreement to licence footage from EMI's
catalogue of historic and current video material to NPG's new on-line music

Inc. (a division of EMI Recorded Music) is also taking an equity stake in NPG
(please see details below).
VideoTV will provide subscribers with an interactive, on-line database of EMI

that has already established a model for online subscription-based streaming
services.'

Newsplayer's strategy of obtaining licences for high-quality media content
and distributing it through our proprietary new media channels. EMI's

subscription service. EMI has already partnered with four online audio
subscription services - Full Audio, MusicNet, pressplay and Streamwaves.
